New Listen: “The Bad In Each Other” from Feist’s Metals, released this week.
The new album, her third, was released this week to mostly good reviews. Many reviewers agreed with Paste Magazine,”Metals feels deliberately uninterested in courting pop audiences or crafting easy hooks, which is why it feels like such a refreshing and slyly badass statement of artistic integrity.” There’s no big hits on the album but that’s ok with me. It’s fits well with the more breathy, lyric focused tunes on her earlier albums. If you need the hits too I suggest shuffling her entire collection together.
Feist played the Late Show with David Letterman this week promoting the album. Here’s the video.
