TONIGHT : ART.Downtown

The place to be tonight is downtown! There are 28 places to visit downtown tonight, centering in the Heartside district. Lots of special one-night only locations will be open including one of my favorite periodic events, Site:LAB, which features 100 university artists in the old J.A. building at the southeast corner of Fulton and Division. Another great spot with lots of artists is the Kendall Studio spaces on Grandville and Wealthy displaying work by 30 graduate students. Rumor has it they’ll have free munchies.

You can also find any of the volunteers on the street tonight wearing white shirts (I’ll be volunteering in front of One Trick Pony from 5:45-7:45) and they can direct you to the trolly stops (YES! There’s a FREE trolly!), bathrooms, and to the galleries.
