new listen: Fitz & The Tantrums “MoneyGrabber”
Was checking out the lineup for the Dave Matthews Band Caravan in Chicago this past weekend and downloaded the sampler audio they have on the event site. On the album was this song by California band Fitz & The Tantrums. Love. They’re like a mix between the Shangri-Las and the Delphonics. Basically Amy Winehouse without the mess. I need to get to Vertigo tomorrow to pick up the album.
Kick in the pants - they were JUST in Grand Rapids last weekend at the Intersection. If I hadn’t been at Electric Forest I would’ve been super pissed at myself for missing the show.
